Morning Routine and Health Milestones

Today was a step toward achieving my long-term goals. I woke up feeling determined and started my day with a refreshing one-hour walk, a routine that has significantly contributed to my physical and mental well-being over the past two weeks. This walk, accompanied by Alex Hormozi’s insightful podcast, set a positive tone for the day. I continued with my carnivore diet, now on day eight, and I was thrilled to see that I had lost 4.9 lbs since last Monday. This progress is a tangible result of my dedication and discipline.

Productivity and Learning

The day was filled with productive activities. I completed my prospecting goals, even doubling the number I had set for myself. This effort is driven by my fear that my original targets might be too low to achieve my aim of making one sale per week. Reaching out to more small businesses and adding them to my CRM felt like a significant step forward in my journey. It wasn’t easy; the constant battle against the temptation to relax and indulge in less productive activities like gaming or watching TV was real. However, today, I won that battle by staying focused on my tasks.

I also managed to take care of some personal health appointments. Visiting the dentist for a teeth cleaning took a considerable chunk of time, but it was a necessary step toward maintaining my overall health. Additionally, I completed all the steps needed to address a medical issue with my feet, which gave me a sense of relief and accomplishment.

Cooking liver for the first time was an interesting experience. Although I didn’t love it, it was perfectly palatable and a necessary addition to my diet for a complete intake of nutrients. This morning, I took a cold shower, which, despite being difficult to start, left me feeling invigorated and accomplished. I believe that pushing myself to do hard things that I initially resist will have long-term positive impacts on my life.

Reading was another highlight of my day. I finished “The 1-Page Marketing Plan” by Allan Dib and started “$100M Offers” by Alex Hormozi. Hormozi’s writings and podcasts have been a source of inspiration, providing me with practical advice and a fresh perspective on business strategies. His emphasis on the importance of pricing products and services high has given me valuable insights that I plan to incorporate into my business model.

Reflections and Future Focus

Social media played a role in my networking efforts today. Though the connections were casual and entirely on Facebook, they are part of my focus on building a broader network. Every small step counts towards creating meaningful relationships that can support my business growth.

As I reflect on my time management, I would grade myself a solid B. While the dentist appointment was a necessary distraction, I did experience a slight dip in productivity during the late afternoon when I fell asleep for a short nap and watched some YouTube videos. However, I accomplished the most critical tasks, particularly my prospecting efforts, which makes me feel satisfied with the overall outcome of the day.

I am deeply grateful for my family and the support they provide. Their presence is a constant source of motivation and inspiration. I am also grateful for the opportunity to pursue my business goals and the health that allows me to push forward with such vigor.

Looking ahead, my primary focus remains on sales and marketing. I need to create a steady flow of business and increase my customer base. Although I don’t have the budget for extensive advertising, the grunt work of reaching out to people personally is essential at this stage. The quote, “I am not competing against everyone else today; I am competing against me yesterday,” resonates with me. It’s a mindset I strive to adopt, aiming to be better each day.

Today, my biggest win was completing my prospecting goals, pushing me out of my comfort zone and moving me closer to my aspirations. While there were no significant setbacks or risks taken, the day was filled with small victories that collectively contribute to my journey toward success.

In conclusion, July 8th was a day of progress, learning, and resilience. Each task completed, each goal met, and each challenge overcome is a step forward on this path. The habits I am cultivating, from my morning walks to my dietary choices and cold showers, are building a foundation for sustained success and personal growth.
